Job Description

The Accounts Clerk will perform a variety of general accounting support tasks, mainly:

  • Issuing sales invoices
  • Posting of batches of purchases invoices prior to approval
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Sending out monthly statements to debtors
  • Updating / posting of bank statements
  • Issuing of creditors list and issuing of payments
  • Batching purchases invoices; agree to pre-approved purchase orders from an accountant in charge of budget
  • Posting of bank transactions from statements daily
  • Filing of physical / electronic documents
  • Issue expense reports to management relating to expenses in connection with their department
  • Handling of petty cash
  • Liaising with auditors and providing information / documentation as required.


  • O’ level in Accounts or Business Studies would be deemed an asset
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Organisational, verbal and written communication skills a must
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task and meeting deadlines
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience is required

Full-time contract on definite basis for one year – 20 hours per week
