Job Description

An opportunity has arisen at the Radisson Blu Resort, St Julian’s. Reporting directly to the Housekeeping Manager, this position requires an individual with a proven track record within the hospitality industry.

The candidate will be responsible for:

  • Provide training for housekeeping staff and ensure their performance is up to standard.
  • Assigning team members their daily duties.
  • Schedule shifts and arrange for replacements in case of absences.
  • Carrying out routine inspections in all rooms, public areas and at the back of the house to ensure that Company standards are met.
  • Co-ordinating work duties amongst other departments.
  • Schedule and supervise deep cleaning and other projects.
  • Service and maintain housekeeping equipment and ensure that all supplies are frequently stocked up.
  • Ensuring that all administrative duties are completed at the end of each day.
  • Monitoring guest complaints and carrying out corrective measures.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, sanitization policies and cleaning products.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold an ITS qualification or equivalent.
  • Good understanding of housekeeping management systems, products, and processes.
  • Be self-motivated, able to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines.
  • Possess good verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English.
  • Portray a professional image in line with the Company values.
  • Be able to work flexible hours.
