An opportunity has arisen for a Cost Controller within the Radisson Blu Resort & Spa, Golden Sands.

The key duties and responsibilities of this role will be to monitor the performance of all departments, especially Food and Beverage, through the efficient maintenance of control procedures.

The main duties and responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining database for Adaco and Micros.
  • Liaising with purchasing and chefs to ensure accurate costings of food and beverage.
  • Ensuring the accurate preparation of paperwork associated with the movement of food, beverage and other stocks from stores and in between outlets.
  • Monitoring food and beverage performance through analysis of daily food covers, sales and cost reports.
  • Identifying control weaknesses and set-up the necessary procedures.
  • Carrying out monthly and ad hoc stock counts, and follows up on any variances.
  • Carrying out stock and cash spot-checks at the outlets.
  • Controlling food and beverage budgets.
  • Delivering reports within deadlines.
  • Keeping abreast of the latest trends and innovations in the hospitality industry.

The ideal candidate must have at least two years of experience in a similar position, familiarity with hotel accounting and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, coupled with the ability to communicate well with all departments.
