Summary
As an International Restructuring Lawyer, you will be involved in various different local and international transactions.

Your responsibilities will vary from day to day, but these may largely include

  • Assisting the Firm’s multinational clients with the planning and implementation of corporate restructurings;
  • Assisting and supporting a team of professionals, from different backgrounds, on numerous corporate law transactions including mergers and acquisitions transactions and due diligence exercises;
  • Reviewing commercial agreements and corporate documents;
  • Assisting with managing corporate transactions;
  • Maintaining good corporate governance and assisting with preparing any documentation required in this regard;
  • Keeping abreast with changes to legislation, particularly in relation to corporate and commercial laws and compliance obligations; and conducting timely and precise research into specific areas of Law.

The successful candidate should

  • Hold a university degree in Law. Previous experience in the corporate law areas will be considered an asset;
  • Be proficient and fluent in written and verbal English. Additional languages will be given value;
  • Be organised and able to perform in demanding transactions;
  • Be career-oriented and have the ambition to develop progressively within the Firm;
  • Be able to work effectively within a team with the energy and time dedication that the profession demands;
  • Have a professional mindset and excellent communication skills.
