Job Description

A vacancy has arisen in the Human Resources department for an HR Executive.

The main tasks, amongst others, include:

  • Implementing the company’s disciplinary procedure
  • Handling employee welfare and relation issues, including communication with employees
  • Liaising with union/s on any personnel issues
  • Assisting in the running of the company’s performance management system
  • Conducting entrance / exit interviews, as applicable
  • Assisting in the recruitment and integration of foreign nationals
  • Organising the preparation of job profiles
  • Assisting in sick leave management
  • Developing and maintaining the company’s HR policies
  • Planning, organising and monitoring training
  • Preparing the training budget, in liaison with the HR manager
  • Conducting / organising training needs analysis
  • Developing training programmes
  • Sourcing internal / external training providers
  • Organising and monitoring training sessions
  • Processing payment of training providers
  • Reporting on training and expenditure
  • Leading any personnel assigned, including the planning and allocation of work within the team

The ideal candidate should have:

  • An advanced level standard of education or higher
  • At least 1 year relevant experience
  • Good interpersonal and leadership skills
  • A sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio
  • Good organisational skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Initiative and is able to work to tight deadlines

A recognised qualification related to HR or management would be considered an asset.
