Role Overview
The main purpose of this role is to support the Head of Casino to execute the Group’s Casino strategy across all regions. The role will focus on understanding our customers, our product and implementing tactical plans to hit key KPIs. The Casino Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the online casino, ensuring that gaming products run smoothly and profitably.
The role will also advise on product development and market trends, with a requirement for a deep understanding of the online casino landscape, player preferences, and compliance requirements. The Casino Manager will be responsible for driving casino activities for the casino and games vertical including player offers and incentives, promotional schedules, cross-selling and positioning as well as managing the Casino Experts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Head of Casino with the development and delivery of financial KPIs through preparation and execution of detailed tactical growth and marketing plans.
- Provide expert advice on improving the overall casino strategy, product portfolio, and new market opportunities. Suggest innovative ideas to enhance the casino’s competitive edge.
- Directly manages the Casino Experts, effectively distributing the day-to-day tasks and responsibilities according to priorities, providing leadership and mentorship, offering guidance on operational efficiency and industry best practices. Leverage a solid understanding of
business, financial, and marketing metrics tied to casino strategy, employing a data-driven analytical approach to continuously monitor and enhance ROI. - Partner with the Marketing team to support the Head of Casino to develop and execute the casino campaign plan, roadmaps and player communication including campaign briefing, defining customer segments, brainstorming with copywriters and designers, signing off assets and marketing materials.
- Liaise with the Fraud, RG, Payments, and the CSD teams for day-to-day casino related operations and escalations.
- Ensure all casino games are up to date, engaging, and functioning correctly. Work with third-party providers to resolve any technical issues.
- Plan and coordinate new game launches, working with Marketing and Product teams to create promotional campaigns to drive player engagement and revenue growth.
- Conduct pre- and post-campaign analysis to pinpoint areas for improvement, develop a comprehensive follow-up plan, and draw conclusions or take necessary actions.
- Track and analyze casino KPIs (e.g., revenue, player retention, player lifetime value) and provide regular performance reports to the Head of Casino.
- Manage the promotional and bonus spend budget.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities, making data-driven recommendations on new games, features, and player experience enhancements.
- Develop and implement player retention strategies, including loyalty programs, VIP management, and personalized promotions as well product improvements and new features development.
- Communicate product rollout to key departments within the business, such as Customer Services, Affiliates, and Marketing teams.
- Ensure that the casino operates within the legal and regulatory frameworks of the jurisdictions it serves. Liaise with the Legal team to manage licensing and compliance requirements.
- Monitor player activity for signs of problem gambling or fraud, working with the Responsible Gaming and Compliance teams to mitigate risks.
- Work closely with the Business Intelligence team to set up the necessary tracking mechanisms to analyze business performance, player segments and campaign results.
- Seek, develop, and maintain strong relationships and partnerships with casino and games suppliers within the industry – holding key responsibility for commercials and contract management with all suppliers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 year of experience working in the igaming industry.
- Prior experience in online casino vertical management, product management and/or marketing
- Must possess regional, market and licensing awareness.
- Strong interest and understanding of online casino products, player behavior, and current market trends.
- In-depth knowledge of online casino games, product development, and player engagement.
- Knowledge of online gambling regulations and compliance frameworks.
- Proven experience in growing an online casino, including line management and team development skills.
