Job Description

PG Group plc are recruiting a Purchasing Clerk to join the Purchasing team. This is a dynamic role that requires an energetic individual who is motivated by a challenging working environment. The selected applicant will be detailed-oriented and have the ability to work well in a team and with all levels of management.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintaining stock standing data
  • Coordinate vendor activities
  • Placing purchase orders
  • Filing of the merchant’s documentation
  • Maintaining and keeping systems up to date with the merchants’ info
  • Liaising and working closely with other areas within the company
  • Dealing with supplier queries efficiently and effectively
  • Liaising with the warehouse
  • Carry out ad hoc admin duties

  • Be able to work under pressure and with minimal supervision
  • Be highly organised and have a high attention to detail
  • Good team player
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Good time management skills
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Good working knowledge of Excel
