We are currently looking for a full-time Payroll Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing payroll duties and also assist in the day-to-day administrative work.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Liaise and collate payroll data
  • Rechecking employee’s records in the payroll system
  • Assisting with any queries that may arise from our employees via phone, email and personally
  • Assist in reports and also liaise with other departments of the Group
  • To make sure that payments are distributed in a timely manner
  • To ensure a high quality / standard of work and service throughout
  • To prepare some reports for Payroll Manager when requested
  • Assisting in the preparation and submission of tax returns on behalf of the employee

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1/2 years experience in a similar post
  • O’ level standard of education
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office
  • Ability to speak and write both in English and Maltese
  • Experience in Indigo will be a plus but training will be provided
