Job Description
We are currently seeking a Cleaner to join our client Wasterserv in Malta.
General overview of responsibilities:
- Coordinating with other Cleaners to keep the company premises clean;
- Cleaning up any spills, broken glass, and any other messes as quickly as possible;
- Refilling supplies, such as any toilet and / or office supplies as often as needed;
- Ordering new cleaning supplies as needed through their supervisor;
- Clean offices and washes floor daily;
- Prepares all the necessary needs for meetings such as tea / coffee etc, clears, and cleans after meetings;
- Cleans toilets as often as needed;
- Dusting and cleaning ceiling vents, surface areas, and counter surfaces;
- Performs general sweeping, scrubbing, and mopping of hardwood, laminate, or tiled floors;
- Disposing of trash from bins and containers;
- Polishing furniture and room accessories as needed;
- Scrubbing of sinks, basins, and toilets in bathrooms;
- Cleaning of windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors;
- Maintaining and upkeep all cleaning equipment, supplies, and products;
- Ensuring safe and sanitary storage and care of products;
- Keeping all Wasteserv spaces neat and tidy;
- Reporting repairs and replacements needed when encountered on the job;
- Can operate a Genie Boom if and when required.
Requirements and qualifications:
- Ability to follow directions;
- Ability to work well alone and with a partner or a team;
- Be reliable and punctual with dedicated professionalism to job and duties;
- Able to adapt to changing schedules or routines, excellent time management skills;
- Pays attention to detail when cleaning;
- Organized and able to follow a schedule;
- Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during the daily routine, with the ability to stand for long periods of time;
- General knowledge of cleaning products, supplies, and cleaning techniques;
- A clean driving license;
- Fluent in Maltese and English;
- Clean police conduct;
- Uphold the company’s health and safety rules and regulations.
