- Monitor surveillance systems, alarms, and access control systems to ensure effective security measures.
- Enforce and comply with all security procedures and protocols.
- Control access points, verify identification, and maintain visitor logs.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, including alarms, incidents, and requests for assistance.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and vendors with inquiries and directions.
- Write detailed reports on security incidents, including observations, actions taken, and necessary follow-up measures.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies, when necessary, to handle security-related matters.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and report any safety hazards or potential security risks.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanour while representing the organization.
Requirements:
- The ability to work flexible hours.
- Good command of English, both written and verbal.
- Clean police conduct.
- Security tag.
- Physically fit with the ability to move around the work area effectively and efficiently.
- Work independently.
- Excellent communication skills and strong physical stamina.
