Job Description

Nectar is on the lookout to employ a Recruitment Specialist who has the drive to put people to work, help them develop, and connect their skills to meaningful work. The Recruitment Specialist will be reporting to the Head of HR. The chosen candidate will be responsible for the full cycle of recruitment including closing hires and probation reviews.

If you have experience evaluating candidates for roles of various fields (both blue-collar and white-collar clients) and seniority levels, we would like to meet you.

The main duties consist:

  • Creating / Reviewing of job descriptions;
  • Communicate with Hiring Managers to decide on qualifications and attributes;
  • Creating job postings (internally and externally) on Nectar’s social mediums;
  • Review, analyse and shortlist resumes;
  • Contact and schedule interviews with potential candidates;
  • Chair the said interviews;
  • Maintain our HRIS (Hiring Section) on BambooHR;
  • Liaise with Dept Manager and invite for 2nd interviews;
  • Prepare job offers and draft work agreements;
  • Close off and liaise with our HR (T&D) Executive to plan onboarding;
  • Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process;
  • Assist with the onboarding process up to the end of the probation period;
  • Actively participate in special projects as assigned;
  • Compile data, analyse and create internal recruitment reporting including time-to-hire metrics.

The chosen candidate should possess:

  • Working knowledge of human resources through education or experience preferred;
  • 2 years experience in a fast-paced recruitment environment;
  • Knowledge of employment law and hiring good practices;
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and familiarity with application tracking systems albeit the latter is not a must since training will be provided;
  • Knowledge of sourcing techniques on websites like Facebook, GoogleAds and LinkedIn;
  • Good written and verbal communication skills coupled with attention to detail;
  • Strong interpersonal, organisational, and time management skills;
  • Able to work in a confidential environment;
  • Team spirit.
