Job Description

Summary
This position requires individuals who would like to work in a dynamic customer service environment with a respected leader in the gaming industry on the island. Betting Store Attendants will be selling all National Lottery’s suite of games in a fun, safe and responsible environment.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the retail store
  • Being responsible for the opening and closing of the shop
  • Being the first point of contact with our customers and making sure they have the best experience in our shops
  • Handling queries and ensuring that any technical issues are followed up and resolved in a timely manner
  • Ensuring the shop is always kept clean and tidy
  • Cash handling, which includes both receiving and paying out customers
  • Liaising with other departments to ensure good communication
  • Reporting any problems / complaints to the Betting Store Manager
  • Attending necessary training to be able to educate customers on the wide range of products and gaming entertainment available

Talent Profile

  • Be a keen sports enthusiast with a passion for helping people
  • Have excellent communication skills in Maltese and English
  • Have experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Email and good general IT skills
  • Be available to work weekends and public holidays
  • Be discrete and confidential
  • Be flexible and self-motivated
