The MSPCA charity shops are a beautifully planned out sustainable initiative, which not only sustains the MSPCA shelter, to rehabilitate and rehome homeless and unwanted animals but also supports the environment through its effective recycling operation and now we are hiring.
Job Role
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, self-driven individual with excellent customer service skills, ready to be part of a successful, multicultural team in our Sliema and San Gwann shops.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that the stock is prepared up to the established standards
- Preparing and maintaining eye-catching, tidy displays
- Window dressing
- Merchandising
- Preparing and pricing stock to be sold
- Operating the till and accurately handling cash
- Taking donations from customers
Requirements:
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Be customer satisfaction-oriented
- Understanding our cause and working with our shelter needs at heart
- Be creative and with a ‘can do’ attitude in life
Experience in retail and a driving licence would be considered an asset.
