Job Description
Mizzi Estates Limited – a company forming part of the Mizzi Organisation – is responsible for the management and leasing operations of the group’s residential and commercial property portfolio, as well as overseeing new developments. Amongst others, its property portfolio comprises a number of office blocks, residential apartment blocks, showrooms, and retail outlets.
Mizzi Estates Limited is currently seeking to recruit a Cleaner on a part-time basis. Being part of the company’s operations team, the chosen candidate shall be responsible for the cleanliness and general upkeep of company properties and ensure these are maintained in an orderly condition.
Duties
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Sweeping, vacuuming and mopping floors, stairs, lifts, roof areas and similar
- Dusting and cleaning ceiling vents, light fittings, countertops, appliances, building
- services / system installations, and loose furniture
- Cleaning and sanitizing rest / bathrooms including toilets, sinks and fixtures
- Washing and drying of windows, doors, gates, louvred apertures etc
- Refilling supplies, such as toilet paper, soap and towel dispensers
- Emptying bins
- Notifying management in a timely manner of any occurring deficiencies, faults, damages etc or needs for repairs
- Following all health and safety regulations
Skills required
Candidates should:
- Have health and safety awareness
- Be flexible
- Be currently a resident of Malta
- Be team-oriented and be prepared to work independently with minimum supervision
- Have a good command of both Maltese and English languages
- Preferably holds a driving license
