At the Digital Enabling Services department, we are engineering the new shared services that will be used by the Government to continue the process of digital transformation. To do this, we have a Software Engineering team made up of forward-looking technologists who can transpose the agency’s vision to bring business benefit to our end users, the citizens and residents of Malta, and European citizens who use our eGovernment services.
One of our principal objectives this year is to build the Once-Only Technical System (OOTS) for the Single Digital Gateway Regulation. The Single Digital Gateway project is one of the most important strategic projects within Europe, and it is aimed at enhancing cross-border interoperability between Member States by allowing the transmission of authenticated data. It is a challenging build for a system that is highly data-driven and that must factor in all the complexities of different data structures. We seek individuals who are willing to take up the challenge and be part of our mission.

Eligible candidates will hold either of the following combinations of qualifications and / or experience, related to ICT.
Either:
- An ICT qualification (MQF Level 7 or higher); Or
- An ICT qualification (MQF Level 6) AND 1‐year experience in an ICT-related area; Or
- An ICT qualification (MQF Level 5) AND 3 years experience in an ICT-related area; Or
- An ICT qualification (MQF Level 4) AND 4 years experience in an ICT-related area; Or
- Five years experience in an ICT-related area.
Candidates’ qualifications, experience, and competencies will be assessed in line with the Agency’s Career Progression framework. Successful candidates may be engaged at either the standard level – career level 4 or the Senior level – career level 5.
