We are seeking to employ an Executive to join our Internal Audit function.
The selected candidate shall report to the Internal Audit Manager. The role entails assisting in the planning and execution of the annual audit plan by carrying out ICT-related audits and recommending corrective actions to improve operations and mitigate risks identified.
This is a challenging and exciting opportunity which offers the selected candidate broad exposure to ICT and business operational audit activities. The selected candidate will be diligently keen on information technology, self-motivated, inquisitive, has excellent interpersonal skills and strong professional ethics.
This opportunity appeals to fresh ICT graduates who may not wish to work in technical ICT areas but have a very good understanding of the ICT context, or to Business or Finance or Audit graduates or experienced individuals as explained below.
Eligibility requirements
Eligible candidates should hold either one of the following mix of qualifications / experience in areas related to Business or ICT or Finance or Internal Audit:
- A qualification related to Business or ICT or Finance or Internal Audit (MQF level 5); or
- A qualification related to Business or ICT or Finance Internal Audit at (MQF level 4) together with one-year experience in any of the above areas; or
- Two years experience in any of the above areas.
Candidates must also possess an MQF level 3 in English and Maltese languages.
Fresh graduates may be offered an employment opportunity subject to the provision of final results.
Candidates’ qualifications, experience and competencies will be assessed in line with the Agency’s Career Progression framework. Successful candidates may be engaged at career level 3 or at the Senior level – career level 4.
