In Malta, we offer a variety of services to our B2B entities as well as B2C entities that activate within the German market.
We are currently on the lookout for an experienced Accountant (m/f/d) to join our offices in Sliema, Malta to assist in our external as well as internal activates.
Your responsibilities:
- In the role of Accountant (m/f/d), you will be handling the self-billing of affiliate revenue share and management of agents’ commissions.
- You will deal the Day-to-Day financial accounting as well as the preparation of VAT returns, gaming tax and fees, as well as company secretarial tasks.
- Furthermore, you will review and evaluate the cashflow alongside daily banking, as well as support senior management with budget preparations and forecasting.
- The handling of the monthly reporting as well as year-end audit preparation and the liaison with external auditors is also your task.
- Some of your monthly duties will include, but not limit to intercompany reconciliations, postings (accruals, provisions, prepayments) and reporting to controlling.
- In addition, you will be responsible for the preparation and processing of payroll with the related statutory returns.
- Last but not least, you ensure that the Payment Service Provider has a healthy liquidity and manage the player funds accounts.
Your qualifications:
- A degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent as well as a qualification or working towards a qualification in Finance or Accounting.
- Hands-on approach and eye for detail in FinTech or iGaming demonstrating good business acumen and understanding of KPI Reporting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
- Knowledge of IFRS and German GAAP, SAP Accounting would be an advantage.
- An understanding of B2C gaming companies is a plus.
