Meeting Point Malta Limited has succeed over the years in developing longstanding business relationships with the island’s top hospitality product and service providers.

The company is in the process of recruiting a Human Resources Manager. The selected person will report directly to the group CHRO and coordinate the implementation of services, policies and programs through the Human Resources team, serve on the Executive Management team and assist and advise company Managers about Human Resources issues.

The major areas directed are establishing and implementing policies, standards and procedures, focusing on the delivery of excellent customer service and working conditions within the DMC, developing and monitoring HR plans and manning budgets, management and employee recruiting and counselling, organising training and orientation programs and performance reviews, ensuring a standard remuneration system together with compensation benefits, providing a positive and safe working environment, organising employee and corporate social activities.

The selected candidate will also direct the preparation and maintenance of such reports as are necessary to carry out the functions of the department, prepare periodic reports for management as necessary or requested to track strategic and goal accomplishment. Main focus will be on developing a high performance culture that emphasises empowerment and initiative, productivity, creativity, high service standards, goal attainment and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce to support the accomplishment of the group’s strategic goals and corporate image.

Candidates must have at least a first degree qualification in Human Resources Management or equivalent and 3 years’ experience in a similar post and be able to present highly favourable recommendations and references.
