Currently we have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Materials Controller to join our dynamic team based in Malta.

Your Challenge:

  • Responsible for acceptance of material received by inspecting general physical condition
  • Responsible for confirmation of quantities and content of material received on consignment level and item level in comparison against corresponding invoice/packing list and SDS if required
  • Liaise with operations personnel on assigned material tasks when operations personnel interaction is required
  • Responsible for highlighting any discrepancies / damages found to Team Leader and client
  • Monitor care, preservation and safekeeping of stored / moved material in clients warehouses
  • Issue relevant material in/out reports for material received and customs documentation
  • Input and update all material movements in client inventories and customs inventory system
  • Issue requested various material storage related reports as requested by client
  • Responsible for vessel / offshore oil platforms life rafts management by email / phone communication and liaise with supplier, owner and yard operations
  • Responsible for vessel spares delivery to vessel, inventory and relevant signed documentation required such as receipts and email communication
  • Responsible for picking material from stored location and ensuring material has been loaded and recorded accordingly and as required by loading procedure
  • Issue and manage cargo manifest as per procedure for all material outgoing through relevant loading list

Who Are You:

  • MQF level 3 standard of education
  • Conservant in using Microsoft applications (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Training certification in handling dangerous goods will be considered as an asset
  • Ability to organise and prioritise work to meet competing demads
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills (both written and oral) in English language. Knowledge of Arabic language would be considered as an asset.
