Job Description
Mdina Glass is looking for an experienced Marketing and eCommerce Manager to develop, coordinate, implement and manage marketing efforts and manage the company’s eCommerce websites.
Applicants must be based in Malta to be considered, have a good knowledge of the local markets and established relations with local advertising media.
Responsibilities include:
- Making recommendations on marketing tactics
- Devising marketing plans and adhering to agreed budgets
- Deploying marketing campaigns from ideation to completion
- Building and maintaining relationships and partnering with key industry players, agencies, and suppliers
- Overseeing and approving marketing collateral and providing input when needed
- Creating organic and paid content, events where necessary, publicity initiatives and lead generation campaigns and performance analysis of mentioned campaigns
- Developing relevant, topical, and engaging content for our online channels
- Analysing and reporting the performance of marketing campaigns
- Organising and overseeing photoshoots
- Producing creative, engaging copy
- Managing social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram
- Devising, maintaining, and optimising digital marketing efforts including SEO, SERP, AdWords, retargeting etc
- Monitoring Google analytics performance indicators and adjusting marketing efforts accordingly
- Overseeing changes and updates to the eCommerce platforms to optimise visitor experience and performance
- Managing the updating of the eCommerce websites
Skillsets:
- Proficient in using Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads and Microsoft Office (and preferably knowledge of any of the following: AdRoll, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Experience with SEO
- Experienced with eCommerce website backend administration (WIX, Shopify or WordPress)
- Photographic or videography / editing abilities will be considered strong assets
- Works on own initiative, but is also a team player with good interpersonal and leadership skills
- Organised and a good planner
- Excellent writing and communication skills (fluent in English)
Education and experience:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a related position
- A University degree in Communications, Marketing or a related field is a strong preference
