Job Description

As the national bus operator, we cover 30 million kilometres every year with our fleet of over 400 buses and a team of over 1,300 people.
The company is seeking to recruit a mature, reliable and energetic individual for the following position in the IT department.
Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Design, develop and maintain business applications;
- Evaluate business requirements and implement integration solutions;
- Design and develop ETL processes for proposed data models and utilize them efficiently;
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to understand their requirements;
- Offer technical support and troubleshooting integration and ETL issues;
- Support the business with ad-hoc reporting requests;
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in technology;
- Develop comprehensive specifications and documentation.
Qualifications and experience:
- Preference will be given to candidates holding a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related degree;
- Ideally holds 2 years experience;
- Knowledge in Spring boot, Spoon, Tableau, Python or similar;
- Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and REST API design;
- Knowledge of MYSQL, PostgreSQL and ability to write optimised queries;
- Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and REST API design;
- Experience with data pipelines, cleaning data, and data warehousing;
- Familiar with collaborative tools such as Github and Jira;
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills;
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently or as part of a team.
