Key Responsibilities
As the CEO of MDA, you will be at the forefront of industry leadership, steering the association towards new heights. Your responsibilities will include:

• Strategic Direction: Develop and execute a clear strategic vision to advance the interests of the property and construction industry, aligning with member needs and broader economic objectives.


• Advocacy and Representation: Advocate for the industry's interests by engaging with stakeholders, policymakers, and governmental bodies, ensuring a favourable business environment.


• Member Engagement: Foster a strong sense of community among MDA members, addressing their concerns, providing value through networking opportunities, and promoting collaboration.


• Innovation and Development: Drive innovation and modernization within the industry by identifying emerging trends, technologies, and best practices, and encouraging their adoption.


• Financial Management: Oversee the financial health of the association, including budgeting, fundraising, and prudent resource allocation.


• Team Leadership: Lead a dedicated team of professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and creating a positive and inclusive work environment.

Qualifications and Experience
To excel in this role, you should possess:

• A proven track record of strategic leadership and executive management, ideally within an industry association or a related field.


• Deep understanding of the property and construction sector in Malta, including its challenges, opportunities, and regulatory landscape.


• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders. Experience in public relations and public speaking will be a valuable asset.


• Strong business acumen, financial management skills, and the ability to drive growth and sustainability.


• A visionary mindset, capable of navigating complex industry dynamics and driving innovation.


• A collaborative and inclusive leadership style, fosters teamwork and a positive organizational culture.
