Job Description

Malta Business School (MBS) is a licensed Higher Education Institution, accredited by the National Commission for Further and Higher Education (NCFHE) Malta. The school delivers both accredited programmes as well as corporate training projects. We strongly believe in recruiting for attitude and training for excellence and are currently seeking a motivated, customer-centric, and driven individual in the position of Junior Sales and Marketing Executive.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting in the planning of marketing campaigns
  • Creating and editing graphics, photos, promotional materials, brochures etc.
  • Scheduling and posting promotional and organic content on various channels
  • Assisting in the monitoring of marketing budgets
  • Monitoring, analysing and reporting on the progress of promotions
  • Contributing to team meetings, brainstorming and sharing ideas
  • Attending to social media enquiries from prospective clients in a timely manner
  • Conducting market research and competitor analysis
  • Providing excellent service to current and prospective students
  • Carrying out sales calls with prospective learners
  • Facilitating meetings with prospective learners
  • Striving to achieve monthly / quarterly targets
  • Record keeping, and handling sales and marketing administrative tasks

Desirable qualifications

  • Diploma in digital marketing, design or similar. Candidates who are still in the process of attaining their qualifications will also be considered
  • A link, to your portfolio of work, will be expected as part of your application

Desirable employment experience

  • Previous experience in a similar role will be considered an asset

Required skills / attributes

  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • The ability to effectively use social media platforms for marketing purposes, including Facebook, Google, Messenger, LinkedIn etc.
  • Strong communication skills, including a customer-focused mindset
  • The ability to thrive within a team
  • A hardworking approach, polite with a can-do attitude
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities
  • Tech-friendly and able to work with MS Office
  • Attention to detail
  • Knowledge of editing software
