We are seeking a dedicated Senior IT Officer to ensure the smooth operation of IT systems, assisting end-users with technical issues, and implementing cloud-based solutions to enhance overall efficiency.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve user-reported issues from time to time.
- Support end-users in onboarding and offboarding processes, including account provisioning and access management.
- Provide second-level technical support for cloud-based applications and services used across the organization.
- Collaborate with the IT team to monitor and manage cloud infrastructure performance, security, and availability.
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of cloud environments for various projects.
- Implement best practices for cloud security, data protection, and disaster recovery.
- Administer and manage Atlassian Jira and Confluence products, ensuring they are optimized to meet the needs of project management, team collaboration, and documentation processes.
- Administer and manage Microsoft products such as Purview, Intune, and Exchange, ensuring proper configuration, compliance, and integration with other enterprise systems.
- Stay up to date with the latest technologies to recommend improvements and optimizations.
- Develop and maintain clear documentation.

- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyse and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Knowledge of network fundamentals and protocols.
- Solid understanding of cloud architecture, services, and best practices.
- Experience in scripting languages for automation and cloud resource management.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies and containerization.
Education and Experience:
- The ideal candidate would possess at least 4-5 years of IT support experience with a strong focus on cloud computing (AWS, Azure and/or Oracle Cloud).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Relevant certifications in cloud computing (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator) area plus.
- Experience within a Credit institution or within the broader financial services industry would be an asset
