Job Description

We are excited to announce a call opening for Lecturers at Learning Works Institute. If you are a qualified and experienced lecturer, we invite you to apply and join our dynamic team of Lecturers within one of the following courses:

Paediatric Care (MQF Level 5):
This course focuses on providing comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in the field of paediatric care. We are looking for individuals with expertise in paediatric nursing, child development, and healthcare practices for children.

Introduction to Sport Management (MQF Level 5):
This module provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the principles and practices of sport management in the contemporary sporting landscape.

Strategic Management in Sport (MQF Level 5):
This module provides students with a comprehensive understanding of strategic management principles and their application in the context of sport organizations.

Project Management (MQF Level 6): *
This course aims to equip students with the fundamental principles and practical tools needed to successfully manage projects. We are seeking Lecturers who have a strong background in project management, including experience in planning, organizing, and executing projects across various industries.

Risk Management (MQF Level 6):
The Risk Management course focuses on identifying, analyzing, and mitigating risks in different contexts. Lecturers with expertise in risk assessment, risk mitigation strategies, and knowledge of industry-specific risk management practices are encouraged to apply.

Principles of Accounting (MQF Level 6):
This course provides students with a solid foundation in accounting principles and practices. We are looking for Lecturers who have a strong background in accounting, financial reporting, and knowledge of relevant accounting software.

Maltese as a Foreign Language and Cultural Orientation (MQF Level 1): *
This course is designed for individuals who wish to learn the Maltese language and gain insights into the local culture. We are seeking Lecturers who are proficient in both spoken and written Maltese, with experience in teaching Maltese as a foreign language and cultural orientation.

English Language for Foreigners (MQF Level 1):
This course is designed for non-native English speakers who want to improve their English language skills. We are seeking Lecturers who are native English speakers or have a high level of proficiency in English, with experience in teaching English as a foreign language.

The institute is a licensed and accredited Further and Higher Education Institution (Licence no. 2009-TC-004).

  • Course material as per course learning outcomes.
  • Deliver lectures both online and face to face.
  • Assess student progress.
  • Provide constructive feedback.
