Job Description

Our client is searching for a Warehousing Supervisor to join our team on a full-time basis.

Main tasks and key responsibilities

  • Responsible for receiving all goods in the warehouse, ensuring proper documentation of the delivery and reporting internally any missing, defective, or wrong items within the shipment.
  • To place all items in the respective locations in the warehouse and advise administration of any movements in stock, in order to keep ERP system updated.
  • To keep a record of temperatures and humidities within the warehouse as well as ensure that any unauthorised personnel accessing the warehouses sign in the access logbooks.
  • To ensure that all warehouses are kept in a clean and tidy state, and follow all cleaning and maintenance schedules.
  • To perform picking for orders in line with company procedures and to maintain a First Expired First Out (FEFO) system or First In First Out (FIFO) system, depending on the goods.
  • To take ownership of access to stores and keep records of all personnel entering stores.
  • To perform maintenance and repairs on returned and defective items, in line with company policies.
  • To liaise with suppliers in order to deliver and receive in a timely manner and in accordance with internal procedures any item that needs to be sent to suppliers for repairs.
  • Work hard in hand with the Quality and Complaints department.
  • Filling up the SOP and any other Quality forms in line with Company procedure.
  • Communicate with the end client regarding the complaints and liaise with the appropriate complaints administrator.
  • Prepare, manage and delegate deliveries and hand management weekly delivery reports.
  • Plan and manage team for the receipts of shipments for both medical and fashion.
  • Liaising with logistics and planning warehousing space on time for the next big shipment.
  • Attend all the necessary training to keep up with the Compliance and Quality procedures.
  • Liaise with the Office Assistant regarding any pending or upcoming maintenance or works in the outlets.
  • To ensure compliance to internal company Quality, HR and Health and Safety procedures at all times.
  • To undergo training as may be required.
  • To participate actively and take on the assigned roles in case of an emergency situation requiring the activation of the Business Continuity Plans.
  • To perform any other additional duties that may arise from time to time.

Preferred education and work experience

  • Secondary level of education.
  • Previous experience in warehousing.
