Job Description
IELS Malta is a leading English language school operating within the tourism and education industry for over 35 years, operating all year round and providing tuition and accommodation to students from all over the world.
We are currently seeking an experienced professional to be responsible for planning and overseeing all aspects of transport from the airport to accommodation establishments, and any other transport aspects related to the Leisure and Welfare department.
This role includes various duties (but is not limited to):
- Act as the initial point of communication with clients – greeting upon arrival / departure, marking off on the arrival / departure sheets, issuing student handbooks with ID cards, directing towards the appropriate transportation provided or check-in desks, and any general assistance and queries.
- Ensuring the IELS airport booth is kept in a presentable manner with branding displayed, and is fully stocked with required items (brochures, placards, spare student handbooks, etc.).
- Dealing with direct queries and information requests; distributing information regarding accommodation and related information in a professional manner.
- Assisting any minors who require assistance and accompanying them to the relevant airline attendant.
- Updating and checking the accuracy of the arrivals list on a frequent basis.
- Informing colleagues and superiors of any amendments to the arrivals / departures list.
- Ensuring all relevant services within the Airport are functioning properly and reporting any faults to 3rd party suppliers.
Qualification, traits and attitude:
- Possess excellent organizational skills, is reliable and can work within a team and on own initiative.
- Have good communication skills (written, and verbal).
- The ideal candidate will have a pleasant disposition and have previous similar experience in a hospitality environment.
