The Sales Manager at Hyatt Regency Malta is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, developing, and maintaining relationships with key clients and business partners. This position plays a pivotal role in achieving the hotel’s sales targets, promoting the Hyatt brand, and contributing to the overall success of the property.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the hotel’s objectives, including revenue and market share growth.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and other key stakeholders to maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Identify potential clients and proactively seek out new business opportunities. Respond to inquiries and leads promptly and professionally.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to clients, showcasing the hotel’s unique features, services, and capabilities.
  • Negotiate and finalize sales contracts, ensuring terms and conditions are favorable to both the client and the hotel.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for pricing and inventory optimization.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, including client interactions, contracts, and revenue reports.
  • Work closely with other hotel departments, including events, marketing, and revenue management, to ensure seamless guest experiences and achieve revenue targets.
  • Represent Hyatt Regency Malta at industry events, trade shows, and business forums to build a strong network within the hospitality industry. Ensure compliance with all Hyatt policies, procedures, and standards, as well as local laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a sales role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a luxury hotel setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency in sales software and CRM systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed.
  • Multilingual skills may be advantageous.
