As an Assistant Maintenance Manager, you will work closely with the Maintenance Manager to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of our hotel facilities and equipment. Responsibilities
- Plan daily maintenance works according to priorities and guest needs.
- Plan preventive maintenance works to keep the brand’s exquisite standards.
- Keep maintenance workshop in optimal condition and ensure all tools are in place at the end of shift.
- Keep maintenance stores stocked and ensure that future projects material is ordered.
- Property inspection from time to time to plan works accordingly.
- Hands on work and assist team when needed.
- Daily plantrooms inspection and follow maintenance agreement with contractors.
- Recommend new technologies for use in projects based on cost, safety, efficiency, and other fields.
- Review blueprints and other design documents to ensure that all regulations and standards for safety and quality are met.
- Monitor closely the work of the team, to ensure that plans and specifications are being adhered to.
- Direct, maintain, and enforce the safety program; assist to review safety policies and procedures to uphold standard of maximum safety for all maintenance personnel.
- Responsible for schedule weekly roster, control of labour and the procurement of materials for unscheduled and emergency work.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
- License A and B.
- European driving license.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Effective leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
