Job Description
We are seeking a skilled System Administrator to manage and improve Windows and Cloud-based (SaaS) applications. The ideal candidate will stay current with emerging technologies and best practices to enhance our IT infrastructure and application services.
Responsibilities
- Application management: Integrate, support patches, and manage the application lifecycle.
- Infrastructure maintenance: Administer, maintain, and monitor Windows-based IT infrastructure for high availability.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to policies, standards, and best practices.
- Troubleshooting: Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Customer support: Provide first to third-level support and coordinate with teams and vendors.
- Requirements analysis: Analyze customer requirements and find independent solutions.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation.
- CAB participation: Participate in Change Advisory Board and Maintenance Weekend calls.
- Automation: Develop scripts and automation to improve services and resolve issues.
- Team support: Support the Level 1 team and resolve escalated tickets.
- Service reviews: Conduct service reviews and monthly customer calls.
Qualifications
- Technical skills: Understanding of IT infrastructure (Hardware, Network, Virtualization, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Backup).
- IT process knowledge: Knowledge of IT processes and service needs.
- Communication: Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Application management: Experience in managing applications (installation, upgrading, monitoring, automating).
- Cloud services: Experience with cloud services (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Scripting: Knowledge of common scripting languages.
Nice to Have
- Middleware: Experience with Tomcat and Apache.
- Configuration tools: Familiarity with Ansible.
- Web servers: Experience with Microsoft IIS.
