Position Overview
As a Human Resources Officer and Office Manager in our Business Aviation division, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our workplace culture, attracting top talent, and ensuring that our employees have the support they need to excel in their roles. This position is responsible for managing various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance within the business aviation sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting to onboarding.
  • Conduct interviews, assess candidates, and collaborate with Hiring Managers to make informed hiring decisions.
  • Assisting in payroll.
  • Handle employee concerns, grievances, and conflict resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
  • Being the first point of contact for the employees.
  • Assist employees with benefits inquiries and issue resolution.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and databases.
  • Validating vacation leave requests and sick leave.
  • Coordinate with our training center to schedule training for the crew.
  • Issuing and amending contracts.
  • Checking and validating documents such as; passports, criminal records, flight crew licence etc.
  • Collecting documents and information regarding applying for Maltese residency.
  • Collecting postage and sending.
  • Ordering supplies for the office such as; stationary, cleaning products etc.
  • Making sure that the office is well kept.
  • Scheduling cleaning for the office.

Requirements

  • Leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of employment laws.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Previous experience in Human Resources.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities.
  • Expert in written and oral English.
