We are seeking to recruit an efficient, dedicated and reliable Finance Executive to work on a full-time basis in a flexible hybrid model (mix of work from home and office) to assist the Accounting department in maintaining the books of our diverse local and international clientele, reporting directly to the Accounts Manager.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Administering accounting records
- Posting of routine transactions
- Assistance in the preparation of management accounts
- Assistance in the preparation of VAT returns
- Assistance in the preparation of VAT recapitulative statements
- Processing of payments
- Payroll preparation
- Identify and understand client needs, including sometimes providing initial solutions to client challenges, then communicating these needs and solutions to the Director
Required Skills, Abilities and Experience
- Demonstrated work experience with a minimum of 1 to 2 years in a similar role or in related administrative roles within a finance service provider environment
- Applicants must be working towards achieving a qualification in accounting (ACCA or an Accounting degree from a recognised university)
- Ability to self motivate and work independently
- Ability to work within a team in a highly transactional company
- Ability to perform in a demanding, client-oriented environment
- Customer service orientation required. Customer service experience or client relations strongly preferred
- Sound computer literacy; MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Outstanding communication – both spoken and written (in particular, business report writing) and people skills
Working Conditions
- The company offers a hybrid work model that integrates flexibility to work from the comfort of your home and the office
- Indefinite contract
- Full-time (40 hours / week)
- Working hours for full-timers: Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5:00pm with a degree of flexibility
