Job Description

Overall Purpose of the Position
The HR and Corporate Administrator is responsible for managing all aspects of the employment lifecycle, for maintaining and enforcing personnel policies, and for ensuring people management processes are consistently adopted across the organisation. Also, a willingness to contribute to corporate work so as to assist the legal and accounts department.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Creation of job descriptions and ensuring that all positions are accurate and up to date
  • Handling employee orientation, development and training
  • Performance management
  • Managing an effective annual review system
  • Addressing personnel-related issues
  • Maintaining up to date personnel information and files
  • Coordinating office activities and operations
  • Supervising administrative staff
  • Overseeing the implementation of one-off projects and of new systems
  • Overseeing adherence to time sheet procedures

Qualifications, Skills and Competencies

  • Minimum 2 years experienced in a similar role
  • Detail-oriented
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Problem solver and an ability to identify issues and offer solutions in a pro-active manner
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • General IT literacy with a willingness to automate
  • Good knowledge of Office applications
  • Qualifications in HR or relevant field would be considered an asset
