Job Description
A team of hard-working individuals with a passion for high-quality food and beverage and outstanding customer service.
Daily role would include:
- Preparing of mixed beverages and cocktails in a timely and presentable manner
- Welcoming and serving guests to the bar / restaurant
- Advising guests of any specials and assisting with beverage selection
- Consistent monitoring of beverage and service standards
- Handling guest complaints
- Suggest beverages to the guest and also try to upsell
- Take beverage orders from the guest on the handheld Point of sale (POS) system
- Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor
- Filling in for absent staff as needed
- Communicate to the guest and provide assistance with their queries
- Serve beverages to the guest as per the course of order
- Observe guests and ensure their satisfaction with the beverages and service
- Promptly respond to guest with any additional request
- Maintaining proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, offering desserts and drinks, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses
- Prepare mixed drinks for service to your customers table
- Properly open and pour wine at the tableside
- Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently
- Understands and can communicate products and services available
- Daily stocking up of fridges and bars
- Accepting, checking, and storing of deliveries
- Preparation of syrups and all items needed for cocktails
- Service of drinks to pool
- Cleaning of bar after every service
- Any other duties as deemed suitable by the Director and Supervisor
Requirements for all staff:
- Fluent in english
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Previous experience in a similar role
- A passion for food, beverage and excellent customer service with an eye for detail
