Position Purpose:
At Genesis we are currently looking to recruit an IT Manager who will be responsible in leading a team in managing and planning company wide IT projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the company’s IT systems, by providing support and resolve issues, and analysing and recommend process improvements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems or issues related to computer software and systems
  • Manage administrative user access rights and restrictions in all systems
  • Develop and propose IT improvements and manage new IT projects
  • Review and approve all IT equipment and software purchases and plan yearly budgets for IT
  • Be involved in negotiation of pricing, purchasing and third party contractors
  • Create and maintain documentation of IT contracts, support and licensing
  • Manage and train the IT team and provide second level of support when required

Requirements:

  • University degree in IT / Computer Science or equivalent
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience working a similar role
  • Experience in maintaining and managing an IT Infrastructure in the following areas:
    • Knowledge and understanding of network optimisation solutions
    • An advanced understanding of IP networks, network components and using tools to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve issues
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong leadership
