Profile Overview
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the Human Resources Assistant supports the HR department in various administrative and clerical tasks. The role involves assisting with recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, administration, and maintaining employee records. The Human Resources Assistant supports the Human Resources Executive in the day to-day administrative tasks and queries while providing exceptional service to employees.

Areas of Responsibility

  • Coordinate interviews between candidates, HR personnel and Hiring Managers;
  • Prepare and send offer letters and employment contracts;
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, both physical and electronic which reflect any new or changes in the employee lifecycle;
  • Applying for work permits and assisting employees with any query including but not limited to the skill card process;
  • Assist with administrative duties related to training organisation;
  • Assist with any performance management;
  • Supporting the team with employee engagement initiatives;
  • Assisting in inputting any payroll changes;
  • Assisting the Human Resources Executive with interns;
  • Assisting with any HR internal and external audits;
  • Any other task that may arise in the running of the business that would fall under the remit of the Human Resources team.

Qualifications and Assets

  • A diploma in Human Resources, Psychology or any related field of study;
  • Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills;
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office package especially Microsoft Excel;
  • Previous experience in the Human Resources field is a must;
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment;
  • Excellent work ethic;
  • Proficiency in HR software;
  • Experience within the hospitality industry will be considered as an asset.
