The Human Resources Officer will be reporting to the General Manager. Duties include but are not limited to: creating and maintaining the weekly work schedule for staff, overseeing the leave calendar and entitlement of staff; overseeing and organising internal and external training programmes; recruitment and selection of new staff; keeping abreast of all HR related legislation; replacing staff on shop floor when required; other general HR related tasks as need may arise.
This position calls for a smart, responsible individual with a positive ‘can do’ attitude and excellent leadership and communication skills. Applicants must be highly proficient with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experienced in all areas of HR. Fluency in English and Maltese is needed. The right candidate must be willing to work flexible hours and have own means of transport. The right candidate must be able to work in a team and handle sensitive data in a tactful and confidential manner. A minimum of 2 years’ comprehensive experience in an HR role is a must, and experience working within the luxury and beauty sector would be considered an asset.
