FBS (Marketing) Ltd is a wholesale and retail organisation dealing primarily in fast moving consumer goods. We represent several big brands within the local market, brands such as Mars, Kellogg’s, Foster Clark’s, Barilla, Glenfiddich, as well as Misura, to name a few.
We are looking for a smart and sociable individual to join our Sales department. The company is currently seeking to recruit the services of an Activation Assistant on a full-time basis.
The Activation Assistant will report to the Channel Sales Manager. This is the opportunity to work with leading brands in the dynamic FMCG market, whilst joining a welcoming team of international professionals.
Role requirements:
- Self-motivated, result driven individual,
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in merchandising or sales, experienced in the merchandising execution of market-leading brands,
- Knowledge of Market Activation in FMCG such as planograms, IPP’s (impulse purchase points), home shelves, gondolas,
- Candidate should possess strong communication skills and negotiation skills,
- Fluent in English and Maltese would be considered an asset,
- Attention to detail,
- Must be willing to visit numerous stores per day, located in various localities around Malta and Gozo,
- A flair for Sales and Marketing,
- In possession of driving licence B.
The chosen candidate will be responsible to:
- Execute visual merchandising guidelines in a timely manner across various localities in Malta and Gozo,
- Ensure store execution is in line with contractual agreement,
- Assist with the planning of store openings, identifying opportunities for improved merchandising opportunities, executing such opportunities,
- Partner with the Sales team to maximise sales opportunities whilst maintaining excellent merchandising standards,
- Replenish shelf space allocated to the company,
- Checking shelf dates and ensure proper stock rotation of all products,
- Ensuring the best position for our products, promotional signage, and price tags.
