Our client is a successful, stable international group with diverse interests in real estate, energy, and capital investments, looking to appoint a Financial Controller to join their Malta team, that boasts a strong staff retention and a solid collegiate and supportive system.

As a Financial Controller, you’ll work closely with and report to the Finance Manager.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Management and financial reporting: Prepare quarterly management accounts and financial statements.
  • Investment exposure: Engage in performance reporting, investment dashboard management, and portfolio benchmarking.
  • Financial reporting processes: Contribute to accurate financial reporting and oversee the annual statutory audit.

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Qualifications: ACCA or CPA.
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years in an international finance function or audit, with exposure to the investment industry being a significant advantage, though not essential.
  • Skills: Demonstrable professional background in management accounting, financial statement preparation, reporting and audit.
