Main responsibilities:

  • Educate, engage, and mobilise employees and leaders in all matters related to employee engagement

  • Understand clear people priorities and objectives in partnership with the senior leadership team that will support the achievement of the organisation’s objectives
  • Build a strong business relationship with employees, managers, and main stakeholders
  • Partner with key operational stakeholders, advising on succession planning enabling us to reach our business goals
  • Implement and drive projects in relation to onboarding, development, and retention in line with our global objectives
  • Supports annual HR cycle deliverables to include roundtables, performance management, individual development planning, annual merit, and bonus processes, and benefits
  • Works closely with and Coach Managers to assess in-house talent and create strategies to engage employees
  • Implement programs related to talent management, career planning, performance management, recognition, and organisational development
  • Drives healthy and positive organisational culture in partnership with people managers by developing and executing strong people development strategies
  • Facilitate the leadership capability curriculum for leaders across all levels and functions
  • Facilitate talent reviews and succession planning conversations with senior management
  • Facilitate the creation of accelerated development plans for key talent
  • Be accountable for a successful people excellence strategy execution in relevant locations
  • Translate business strategy to required key capabilities, experiences, and skills required for business success
  • Lead and coach business leaders and stakeholders in all people excellence-related matters
  • Keep up with market trends and best practices in the talent and share your knowledge and insights with stakeholders at all levels – while continuously driving improvements and responding to changing business needs
  • Ensure reporting and tracking metrics to show progress and plans for improvement and efficiently measure ROI
  • Maximise usage and value offered by existing (and new) learning platforms, tools, solutions, and methods, including online / digital learning systems, on-the-job training
  • Manage and develop the PEX Specialist, as well as nurture and monitor internal facilitators and engagement coaches
  • Support and contribute towards excellence in HR Governance
  • Perform other duties, as asked by the manager, which are related to this position, and which meet the qualifications

Qualifications

  • At least 6 years of experience in HR with 2 years in a leadership role
  • Previous experience in the fields of Talent Management and Learning and Development is required
  • Be well versed in neuroscience, psychology, learning, and leadership theory, and design concepts that reflect new ways of leadership capability building
  • Personal competencies: deciding and initiating action, relating and networking, planning and organising, adapting and responding to changes, and coping with pressure and setbacks
  • Advanced coaching and facilitation capability (virtual and IRL) is required
  • Experienced in designing and driving company key leadership capability building and development efforts
  • Experience in engagement programmes, development centres, career pathing, design thinking,learning solution design, and customer service is an advantage
  • International experience from working in a multicultural setting is an advantage
  • Strong business acumen and commercial mindset
  • Excellent spoken and written English is essential
