Job Description

Our company is looking for a dynamic individual to fulfil the post of a Hospitality Manager.

The position requires experience in a similar role. The individual will be required to organise and oversee daily operations of our facilities, manage inventory and manage and execute sales goals. We are looking for a diligent and proactive person who must hold a high level of communication skills in both English and Maltese.

The Hospitality Manager will be expected to have a strong ability to build and maintain successful business relationships with suppliers, customers and staff, and have the ability to bring out the best of his / her team members.

Key Responsibilities / Duties but are not limited to:

  • Sales and marketing
    • Direct the development and execution of strategic sales and marketing initiatives to ensure the Company’s goals are met;
    • Participate in the daily and weekly revenue strategies;
    • Support and actively participate in direct sales and management.
  • Financial and accounting
    • Ensure costs are managed and controlled so the Company’s goals can be achieved;
    • Comply with all management company accounting procedures and ensure staff adherence.
  • Planning
    • Prepare and develop annual business plans;
    • Assist and develop Sales and Marketing Plan under the direction of the Directors.
  • Food and Beverage
    • Ability to oversee food and beverage operations and ensure delivery of superior service and customer satisfaction.
  • Other areas
    • Interact with customers and associates on a regular basis to drive customer satisfaction and achievement of Company targets;
    • Achieve Company targets for brand recognition, awareness and quality;
    • Comply with all Company and regulatory safety policies and procedures and assist in the implementation and oversight of such policies and procedures;
    • Ensure all required training is executed in the appropriate time frame;
    • Interview, hire, supervise, train, and counsel staff;
    • Conduct regular visual inspections of the property to ensure proper maintenance, cleanliness and service standards are in place;
    • Operate the property in an energy-efficient manner.

The selected applicant would preferably have the following skills and abilities:

  • Experience in catering premises;
  • Reliable and trustworthy person with an attention to detail;
  • Proactive with high motivation and positive attitude;
  • Possess strong communication skills and able team player;
  • Have basic knowledge of computer skills.
