Job Description

Elbros Homes is a leading property development business. The company forms part of Elbros Group, which is amongst one of the most important and long-standing construction entities in the country.

The Company is seeking to recruit a Technical Officer who shall report to the Projects Managers and shall work both from the office and on-site.

The responsibilities of this role will include but will not be limited to:

  • Liaison with internal / external architects, works managers and engineers regarding any enquiries and / or requests and / or changes relating to the developments and projects of the Company
  • Carrying out, reviewing, and keeping a record of all and any changes in architectural plans including but not limited to minor amendments
  • Review of architectural and M&E plans at the planning stage and throughout the whole phase of the development
  • Carrying out furniture layouts of residential units
  • Coordination of Compliance and EPC certificates
  • Liaison and coordination of groundworks with the main contractor and with various authorities and service providers of the developments and projects of the Company
  • Determining the quantities required for projected finishes works, drawing up bills of quantities, programmes of works, supplier contracts and obtaining quotes from various sub-contractors at the selection stage
  • Reviewing the finishing phase of all projects and monitoring that works are progressing in line with the program of works (and providing periodic reports to the Project Manager and Directors)
  • Measurement of finishing works on site (which will be later reviewed and certified by the Projects Managers)
  • Providing timely and constructive feedback to all direct reports as and when required either formally or informally
  • Assisting the Projects Managers on-site and from the office
  • Other duties as assigned by management

The ideal candidate should:

  • Have a minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role
  • Well versed in AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Projects
  • Be motivated and able to work on his / her own initiate, unsupervised and part of a team whilst adhering to deadlines
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills, able to multi-task and an eye for detail
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Clean driving license and police conduct report
  • Valid working permit (in force)
