Job Description

E&L Enterprises Ltd. is seeking to employ an HR Executive on a full-time basis to join its current team.

Duties:

  • Process payroll
  • Collecting and verifying timekeeping information for all employees
  • Calculating pay according to hours worked incorporating leaves and overtime
  • Prepare monthly compensation and attendance spreadsheets
  • Maintaining employee records
  • To process all paperwork for recruitment and termination of employees
  • To input data of employees in the Jobsplus system
  • Processing of work permits applications with Identity Malta and Jobsplus
  • Publishing and create job postings
  • Scheduling interviews
  • Screen resumes and job applications
  • Assisting with the recruiting of new candidates
  • HR needs to understand the organisation’s needs and make sure those needs are met when recruiting for new positions
  • Update internal databases with new hires’ data (e.g. contact details and bank accounts)
  • Developing fair HR policies and ensuring that all employees including supervisors and managers understand and comply with them
  • Assist in arranging training activities
  • Address employees’ queries and problem-solve when possible

Requirements

  • A minimum 1-year experience work experience as an HR Clerk, HR Officer or similar role in HR
  • A’ level standard of education and / or MCAST certificate in a related field
  • Hands-on experience with Shireburn Indigo Software is an asset
  • Proficient computer literacy in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and emails
  • Good understanding of HR operations (recruiting, onboarding and training)
  • Basic knowledge of labour legislation
  • Solid organisational and time-management skills
  • Smart, mature and of professional disposition
  • Capable to work on own initiative
