Our client, a fast-food chain of restaurants is seeking to recruit a Head of Marketing.

The Job
Based in Malta and reporting to the General Manager, the Head of Marketing is responsible for strategic marketing planning and brand positioning. The chosen candidate will lead a team to develop campaigns for various channels to drive sales and market growth.

The Head of Marketing reviews and monitors market conditions and measures brand perception, communicates and trains restaurant management on the execution of programmes, and liaises with all functions within the company to align activities with business objectives, locally and internationally. The role involves providing direction to agencies and partners, and extensive reporting on activities and market research to senior executive teams at group level and at the corporation.

The selected candidate will have a warm and determined personality, able to interact effectively with diverse teams, be obsessed with the brand and its values, and demonstrate a passion to support the entire team to champion our client’s brand in Malta.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess a degree or tertiary level qualification in strategic marketing, business management or a relevant field, and demonstrate three to five years’ experience of engagement with a major brand. Candidates who can demonstrate a track record of effective marketing are preferred. A good command of business English and a willingness to travel regularly is essential to this role.
