Job Description
Eden Leisure Group is looking for a Sales and Events Coordinator to be part of the team at Eden Cinemas. Your primary responsibility is to drive revenue and enhance the customer experience through effective sales strategies and successful event coordination. You will be responsible for promoting cinema offerings, managing corporate and private event bookings, and ensuring smooth event execution. Your role will involve collaborating with various internal departments and external clients to deliver exceptional events and boost cinema revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase cinema on-screen advertising.
- Conduct market research to identify potential target audiences and develop sales plans accordingly.
- Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends, evaluate performance, and adjust strategies as needed.
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, schools, and other organizations to secure group bookings and partnerships.
- Serve as the main point of contact for event inquiries and bookings, both corporate and private.
- Work closely with clients to understand their event requirements and provide suitable cinema offerings and packages.
- Coordinate with various departments, such as operations and technical teams, to ensure all event requirements are met.
- Create event timelines and ensure that events run smoothly, adhering to cinema policies and safety regulations.
- Handle event logistics, including seating arrangements, audio-visual setup, and event staff coordination.
- Foster positive relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Maintain accurate records of event bookings and sales data.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance and event success.
- Collaborate with the cinema management team to align event strategies with overall business objectives.
- Coordinate with the marketing and promotions team to ensure events are adequately promoted.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in sales and event coordination, preferably in the entertainment or hospitality industry.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to interact with clients and internal stakeholders effectively.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends and evenings, based on event schedules.
- Creativity and problem-solving skills to handle event challenges and create unique experiences.
- Passion for the cinema industry and a strong customer-focused mindset.
