Job Description

As the Head of Development, you will lead a growing team of in-house and external developers, supporting them in building an industry-leading, robust, and innovative solution within the mobility field. The role involves ensuring product quality and delivery, strategy planning and monitoring, and supporting operations and production environment stability.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of developers, to deliver software that meets the needs of the business.
  • Drive an agile mindset and processes, while motivating teams to achieve organizational and sprint goals.
  • Ensure that knowledge is documented and shared, including business continuity procedures and routines.
  • Work with the CTO and the team in creating, implementing, and maintaining a continuous improvement plan for software development and cloud infrastructure.
  • Closely work with product owners and scrum master with the aim of meeting current and future user needs (grooming of the backlog) and ensuring delivery against agreed priorities.
  • Encourage / coordinate resources to represent the company at conferences, meetings and to write technical articles for the company’s technical blog to continuously grow its presence.
  • Work closely with the People and Talent team, CTO, and the Lead Developers to hire new talents.
  • Drive consistent standards and approaches throughout the team.

Who you are

  • You have considerable experience working within the tech sphere, with strong and successful leadership experience.
  • Adept at prioritizing, supporting, and delivering on operational issues, targets, and production environments.
  • Have strong working experience in agile implementation and methodologies.
  • Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and can communicate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proactive and highly organized, with strong time management and planning skills.
