Job Description

We are looking to recruit a Compliance Analyst to support and complement our Compliance function. The role will require a high degree of responsibility with many exciting challenges and great potential for personal and professional growth. You will be reporting to the Compliance Officer servicing the needs of the three entities that form part of DFK Malta – DFK Malta Corporate Services Limited, DFK Malta Audit Limited, and DFK Malta Tax and Consultancy Services Limited.

Scope of the job
Assisting the Compliance Officer in ensuring that the Group is complying with regulatory obligations, as well as internal policies

Your challenge:

  • Maintain and update the Compliance Monitoring database and any other databases as required
  • Managing compliance monitoring routines
  • Assisting in the facilitation of in-house training on legal and compliance matters
  • Assisting in the creation of processes and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the function
  • Assisting the Compliance Officer in handling compliance escalations as part of the daily tasks
  • Assisting with executing and maintaining the Compliance Monitoring Program
  • Periodically review client folders as part of the Compliance Monitoring Program
  • Managing and maintaining compliance policies, procedures, and internal guidance documents
  • Regular monitoring of upcoming legislation and regulatory developments relevant to the Group
  • Providing support and acting as a point of contact for compliance-related enquiries
  • Raising the awareness of compliance throughout the DFK Malta group
  • Keeping up to date with legal and regulatory changes/developments that may impact the DFK Malta group and assisting in advising and supporting the business accordingly

To do it you will need:

  • Knowledge and experience of KYC procedures for at least 2-3 years specifically the due diligence requirements of corporate and individual clients would be an asset
  • Excellent command of the English language both written and verbal. Knowledge of additional languages would be an asset
  • Knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • A ‘can do’ mentality, self-assurance, proactive approach, and being open to changes
  • To be Self-motivated, able to work independently, and deliver to agreed deadlines
