We are currently looking for a General Manager to join our team at db San Antonio Hotel & Spa.
As General Manager, you will hold full accountability for the strategic and operational leadership of db San Antonio Hotel & Spa. You will be expected to drive business growth, optimise guest satisfaction, and enhance profitability while ensuring that all departments operate seamlessly. A key aspect of your role will be to ensure the consistent delivery of superior service in line with the hotel’s standards. You will collaborate closely with the hotel owners, Board of Directors, and key stakeholders to meet and exceed organisational objectives, ensuring that operational excellence aligns with the overarching vision of db Group.
Job Role
Oversee all aspects of hotel operations to ensure an optimised balance of guest satisfaction and profitability.
Lead and inspire a diverse team to deliver the highest level of service, ensuring that all operations are executed efficiently, courteously, and in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Provide strategic leadership across all departments, working closely with ownership and stakeholders to ensure alignment with the Group’s broader goals.
Supervise and coordinate daily staff activities, ensuring smooth, efficient, and effective hotel operations.
Review and improve existing systems and operational procedures, implementing new strategies where necessary to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Effectively manage the hotel’s financial performance, ensuring all operations are in line with the budgetary targets set by the Board of Directors.
Maintain product and service quality standards through regular inspections, addressing any deficiencies or guest concerns promptly and professionally.
Engage with guests to gather feedback and continuously strive to improve guest satisfaction and service scores.
Lead the professional development and training of hotel staff, ensuring the team is equipped to meet the hotel’s operational demands and service expectations.
Undertake any necessary duties to ensure the sustained profitability and success of the hotel.
Job Requirements
Extensive experience at a Senior Management level within the hotel industry.
A confident and approachable leader with a proven ability to manage and inspire large, multidisciplinary teams.
Strong financial acumen, with demonstrated experience in managing budgets and analysing financial performance.
A degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster strong relationships with guests, staff, and key stakeholders.
Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and resolve complex operational issues efficiently.
Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in additional languages is considered advantageous.
