Job Description

As part of the growth of db Hotels + Resorts chain, the group is seeking to recruit a highly motivated and organised Reservation Agent to join San Antonio Reservations Office.

Responsibilities
A Reservation Agent works with trend data to respond to guest and customer enquiries so as to develop strong relationships and maximise revenue opportunities. Specifically. the selected candidate will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Monitor customer satisfaction regularly and ensure efficient resolution of all guest inquiries of various hotel services and operations.
  • Ensure bookings are guaranteed, assist to make all room reservations and ensure maximize room revenue for all.
  • Ensure all reservation detail updates on all systems within required operated procedures.
  • Manage all incoming calls and email enquiries in a prompt, professional manner and ensure the response to all queries to maintain a professional relationship and atmosphere in accordance with company policies.
  • Manage all special reservations and monitor all reservations and discounts, cancellations and modifications.
  • Manage all correspondence from guests and ensure response and completion of all guest requests.

Requirements
To successfully fill this role, the selected candidate should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

  • Good organisational and administration skills.
  • Positive attitude and good communication skills.
  • Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a good command of English and preferably Maltese.
  • Confident telephone manner.
  • IT skills including basic knowledge of operating Room Master system – PMS system will also be considered as an asset.
  • Fluency in English and preferably another language.
