The group is distinguished and well established in the hospitality sector with its own branded db Seabank Resort and db San Antonio Hotel and within the leisure sector with its own branded Pearl Spa, Hardrock, and Starbucks development license and outlets, as well as its variety of established restaurants offering various cuisines, including Aki, Amami, Nine Lives, Blu Beach, Westreme, Loa, Tora and Manta.
We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to join our team and collaborate with the CFO to lead the implementation, upkeep, and development of IT and digital solutions across the Group. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring our business operations, reporting, and digital security requirements.
Job role
The IT Manager will take ownership of IT-related projects, driving them from initial concept through to successful implementation.
Key responsibilities include
- Identifying business requirements and translating them into technical specifications.
- Conducting market research to identify feasible IT solutions for specific business use cases.
- Coordinating with suppliers, developers, and service providers on solution design, development, testing, and implementation.
- Keeping stakeholders, end users, and clients informed throughout the project lifecycle.
- Delivering user training, providing user manuals, and ensuring ongoing support systems.
- Managing resources and ensuring timely project delivery.
- Overseeing the Group’s IT security and network in collaboration with subcontracted IT engineers.
- Assessing existing manual processes and implementing digital solutions focused on centralization, automation, and cross-communication within IT systems.
- Gathering and organizing data to prepare for new system implementations.
- Assisting the CFO with IT strategy development and maintaining internal IT documentation.
- Coordinating and monitoring subcontracted or outsourced IT service providers to ensure continuous support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management, project management, or coordination, ideally within a corporate environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of IT systems, security, and network management.
- Experience in managing IT vendors and service providers.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deliver on tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with market research, business analysis, and translating requirements into technical solutions.
